Why Verizon's change matters for your firm
Standard Neos texting uses email-to-text, a service the phone companies run. The message leaves as an email, and the client's phone company turns it into a text.
Phone companies are retiring that service. AT&T retired its version in June 2025, and Verizon expects to finish retiring its version by March 31, 2027. As Verizon phases it out, texts sent through email-to-text may not reach clients on Verizon, and there's no way to know which ones didn't.
