Migrate to Neos

One team. Start to finish. No handoffs.

Your move to Neos is run by a dedicated Assembly team. No outside implementation vendor. No multi-year timeline.

The scariest part of switching case management isn't the software.
It's the move.

Assembly runs it differently: keep working your cases while we move your data, and most firms go live in weeks.

What to Expect

01

We plan it with you.

Clear expectations and a hands-on project plan built around your firm.

02

We learn how you work.

We map your data, workflows, and goals before anything moves.

03

We move your data for you.

Your data is mapped field by field against your live system, then converted using tooling we built and maintain ourselves. No third-party vendor touches your files. If a field exists in your current system, we can land it in Neos.

04

You review before committing.

Your converted data lands in a pre-production environment for you to validate. Nothing goes to production until you confirm what you see.

05

You get training with your own data and configuration.

Your team trains in your own Neos environment, with your converted data and your configuration in front of them, not a generic sandbox. By go-live day, your staff has already practiced their real workflows on their real cases.

Firms that made the switch

The transition was seamless. We had no issues at all. Our entire team felt prepared to make the switch on our Live date. Everything went seamlessly and the support staff was wonderful and answered all our questions timely.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to migrate to Neos?

It depends on how much data moves with you and which package you choose. A few weeks for a standard configuration, a couple of months for a core data conversion, several months for a full-service conversion with custom configuration and formal acceptance testing. The timeline is built around those activities, not padded by them.

Your plan is set at kickoff and allows time to review your data mapping before conversion, validate your converted data in a pre-production environment, and train your team on that environment before go-live. Bigger conversions get more review time. You know your target date from day one.

Do we have to stop working cases while we migrate?

No. Your firm keeps running on your current system right up to the day you switch. Assembly moves and validates your data in a parallel Neos environment, your team practices in it with your real cases, and you pick the go-live date. There is no window where your firm is between systems and no period where cases go untouched.

Will our firm lose any data when we switch to Neos?

Not if it is in scope, and you decide the scope. Your data is mapped against your live system and you approve that mapping before conversion begins. On a full-service conversion there is no field-level limit: custom fields, case history, intake, liens and settlement data all come across.

You review the converted data in a pre-production environment and confirm it before we set a go-live date. Anything inside the agreed scope that does not arrive, we fix at no cost. You keep running on your current system until cutover day, so there is no gap.

Can we migrate to Neos from Needles or Trialworks?

Yes. Neos comes from the makers of Needles and Trialworks, and Assembly has migrated thousands of firms. Because Assembly built all three systems, personal injury specific data such as case types, statutes of limitation, liens, medical providers, and settlement detail maps directly into Neos rather than being flattened into generic fields. No third-party conversion vendor touches your files.

Can we migrate to Neos from Filevine, Clio, CASEpeer, Litify, SmartAdvocate, or another system?

Yes. Assembly's professional services team migrates firms to Neos from Filevine, Clio, CASEpeer, Litify, SmartAdvocate, CloudLex, Smokeball, PracticePanther, and other case management systems, as well as from spreadsheets and on-premise servers. Assembly maps your existing fields to Neos, converts the data with tooling built and maintained in-house, and confirms accuracy with your firm before go-live.
