For over 100 years, Handler, Henning, and Rosenberg, LLC has served the central Pennsylvania area, specializing in personal injury law and mass torts. Today, the firm has grown to over 40 lawyers. Handler, Henning, and Rosenberg have been Needles (and before that, PINS) customers for over 30 years! Recently, the partners realized the importance of moving the firm to cloud-based case management software, which allowed for remote access, better security, and the ability to collaborate from anywhere.
Neos was the obvious choice because they knew that Assembly’s legal software was industry-leading, customer service was top-notch, and the custom training provided ensured seamless data migration.
Before Neos
Previously, the firm relied on Needles for its case management. While they found immense value in Needles, the server-based solution wasn’t ideal—the need to access records, case files, and client information and collaborate from anywhere had become an obvious barrier to growth. Since each staff member at the firm might interact with hundreds of case files from the office and at home, the firm lost many hours of productivity because a hybrid work model was not supported.
Handler, Henning, and Rosenberg also shouldered substantial additional expenses associated with supporting servers onsite, such as the cost of the servers themselves, extra office space to house them, and increased utility costs. The additional costs of on-premises servers and lack of remote access convinced them that transitioning to a cloud-based platform was the best next step for the firm.
